The volume “The Role of the Digital Image in the Education of Children Aged 5 to 10” presents a study based on both theoretical sources and personal experience within the art education system. The research has a transdisciplinary and multimedia character, drawing on specialized literature from the fields of art education, psychology, art history, and modern and contemporary visual arts. The aim of this study is to highlight the necessity of integrating new forms of art and emerging electronic methods (such as video games) into contemporary art education methodologies.
